Master Freediving Program

(Zero to Hero for beginners or a complete training program for experienced freedivers)

Our 4 weeks master program (with options for Half Master 2 weeks program) is a personal customised education and training program which will be crafted according to your needs and expectations.

If you have never tried freediving and are ready to commit for one month to get out an experienced Level 3 certified master freediver this is a perfect opportunity for you to get maximum value for money.

Zero to Hero program would look like this:

General rule for training in freediving is repetitive training with enough days for complete rest. Standard scheme is 2-3 days diving filled by one day rest and 2 cycles like this followed by 2-3 days of rest. This principle and condition of your physical/mental fit would be the markers to decide on diving schedule and overall program intensity.

For experienced freed divers, the Master Program is also an opportunity to level up their diving, work on some particular aspects of their diving and complete those levels of freediving education which they have not done yet.

All of our certification courses in Amed, Bali give you the chance to earn an international freediving certification once you meet the required standards in depth, pool, and dry sessions. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Who is the Freediving Master Program for?

Three different student types can benefit from this program, which is tailored to your objectives. First, total novices who are prepared to immerse themselves in the world of freediving for two or four weeks. If you commit for a month, you'll have enough time to gradually advance to Level 2 or even assistant instructor level. Your progress will probably be quick and steady if you're already comfortable in the water. Second, certified freedivers who wish to advance to the next course level, hone their skills, and go deeper. Third—ocean enthusiasts who simply want to train, get enough sleep, and explore depth rather than pursuing certifications. We'll lead you through steady, easy progress, and if you reach the 50-meter mark, we'll take a boat and go even farther.

What’s included in the price, and are certifications part of the package?

We offer two options: the 2-week version for $USD 650 and the full 4-week Master Program for $USD 1050.

Our 2-week program will include Level 1 and Level 2 courses plus three training sessions (full value of $USD 750), plus an Intro to Coral Conservation course. This format works especially well for those beginners who pass Level 1 but need some extra time to feel confident to step into Level 2 without having to rush the material.

The 4-week version is a complete Zero to Hero path where the beginner will take Levels 1, 2, and 3, get Intro to Coral Conservation and a Try Spearfishing experience, and get enough structured training to realistically reach Master Freediver or Assistant Instructor level. Individually, this whole bundle would come to approximately USD 1390, so the full program is also great value if you want time to develop your skills slowly and sustainably.

Both programs will cover all the study materials, equipment, theoretical lessons, and practical sessions for the whole duration of your stay, which essentially includes everything you may need to start freediving or upgrade your level properly. The certification fee is not included.

What Are Freediving Conditions Like in Amed Throughout the Year, and When Is the Best Time to Come

Amed is one of those places where you can freedive almost any day of the year. Warm water, no currents, easy shore access to depth — you literally swim out five minutes and you're on the line. Life here is simple and calm in that cradle-like way: good food, quiet evenings, and everything you need for a long training block without distractions.

If you choose "the best" time, then September to November wins without doubt: no wind, great visibility, and not many tourists. From December to March, our rainy season is on, the village is almost empty, the hills become green, temperature feels nice but visibility goes down a bit and the sea becomes wavy from time to time. Then from April to June things clean up slowly again: still few tourists, better viz and only occasionally light rain and wind.

July and August are the classic busy months in Bali: dry, sunny, with good visibility but also the usual holiday crowds and some wind. Still, all four seasons are fully diveable. We train here every week of the year, and each period has its own charm. In the end, just choose the time that fits your rhythm — the ocean will be waiting.
